MUTUAL PATHS OF DEVELOPMENT OF SPORTS MEDICINE AND OTHER MEDICAL DISCIPLINES IN THE 20TH CENTURY IN POLAND

Abstract
Mutual paths of the development of sports, rehabilitation, school, aviation, industrial and prophylactic medicine in the 20th century in Poland were analyzed. The article also presented the role of the outstanding researches and pioneers of sports medicine, who transmitted the ideas of physical activity and its sports forms to other disciplines, considerably affecting formation of scientific and organizational bases for related medical specialties.
