Abstract
Causes of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) determine a number of actions to be taken by all divisions of the healthcare system. The aim of the article was an attempt to present a complex therapeutic process and the role of a nurse. It was based on a case of a young woman with metabolic disorders causing cardiac arrest.
