NANOPARTICLES APPLICATION IN WASTEWATER TREATMENT BY FLOTATION

Abstract
In this study, we present the potential of nanomaterials application for improving the wastewater treatment by flotation and also the experimental investigation of using magnetite nanomaterial as froth stabiliser in flotation process applied for the removal of oil pollutant from wastewater. In order to evaluate the magnetite (Fe3O4) nanomaterial potential of application for oil removal from wastewater by flotation were studied the following parameters, such as: yield of wastewater treatment [%] and the stability of froth.
