National planning: why ukrainian sustainable development strategy is not working?

Abstract
The main idea of the article is to analyse economic strategies of well–developed and developing countries in order to create an effective and successful national strategy. The article considers national strategy «Ukraine–2020», points out strong and weak sides of national planning and suggests practical and sufficient solutions to contribute to future strategies.
