NATO Strategic Concepts – A Political and Military Perspective

Abstract
Since 1949, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has adopted to new circumstances and the challenges of a modern world. Solutions that were established to oppose them, are an example of the revolution that took place in the militarily and political sphere. In the article, the author focused on the strategic conceptions adopted by the Alliance and the political aspects, in particular, the relationship between NATO and Russia. The author briefly discussed the issues related to foreign policy and the actions undertaken by Turkey and Germany, as one of the pillars of NATO.
