A Novel Approach towards Gas Sensing Through A.C.Conductivity of Tin OxideAluminum Oxide Composite
Journal Title: International Journal of Engineering Sciences & Research Technology - Year 30, Vol 3, Issue 6
Abstract
The present paper reports the synthesis of SnO-Al2O3 composites via the hydrothermal route. The as-synthesized materials are characterized by different techniques, such as X-ray diffraction, High resolution scanning electron microscopy and UV-Visible spectroscopy. The A.C.conductivity of the composites were determined in the ambient and cigarette smoke environment. The results show that the composites are potentially suitable candidates for sensing application.
