A Practical Approach Forparallel Image Processing
Journal Title: IOSR Journals (IOSR Journal of Computer Engineering) - Year 2016, Vol 18, Issue 2
Abstract
This review paper tries to solve the problem of processing big data of images on Apache Hadoop using Hadoop Image Processing Interface (HIPI) for storing and efficient distributed processing, combined with OpenCV, an open source library of rich image processing algorithms. This paper demonstrates how HIPI andOpenCV can be used together to count total number of faces in big image dataset.
