DEVELOPMENT OF THE MAIN DIRECTIONS OF TRANSPORTATION AS ONE OF THE WAYS OF FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF SEA PORTS OF UKRAINE

Abstract
The research of cargo handling in commercial ports of recent years has shown that there is a gradual trend of it toward a decrease in domestic cargo ports. Taking into account almost constant increase of imports and exports, the decline comes from the decrease in transit. The subject of research is the development of main directions of cargo transportation. The aim of the study is to conduct analysis of the current state of the freight base of sea commercial ports of Ukraine and the possible directions of its development. The main methods of research are structural method and the method of statistical analysis, methods of economic-mathematical and comparative analysis, the method of the system approach, the method of expert evaluations. As one of the ways for the further development of ports proposed the unification of the VII international transport corridor transport route the mouth of the Danube - Black sea - Azov sea - Volga-don shipping canal - Volga river - Caspian sea. The extension of the VII international transport corridor to the ports of the Caspian sea, will complete the formation of a common Eurasian deep-water transport system, which in turn will facilitate the development of transit transport through the territory of Ukraine. In addition to the above directions of formation of a unified Eurasian deep-water transport system for the development of the transit component of Ukraine should also consider the river connection Gdansk-Warsaw-Brest-Pinsk-Mozyr-Kiev-Kherson, i.e. the revival of the waterway E-40. Which will connect the basins of the Baltic sea and the Black sea. The scope of the research results can be: Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine, the Administration of seaports of Ukraine, commercial sea ports of Ukraine, Scientific-research and design institutes, private sector, etc. To achieve the development of domestic cargo base ports necessary to consolidate the efforts of specialists of the ministries, sectorial institutions, seaports and other businesses in the adoption of appropriate strategic directions to overcome the problem of the reduction of the freight base.
