FLORAL MORPHOGENESIS OF SOME SPECIES OF THE ACER GENUS
Journal Title: Analele Stiintifice ale Universitatii Alexandru Ioan Cuza din Iasi, Serie noua, Sectiunea II a. Biologie vegetala - Year 2007, Vol 53, Issue 0
Abstract
In the present paper the authors have investigated the flower’s structure of five species of the genus Acer: A. negundo, Acer saccharinum, A. ginalla, A. campestre, A. pseudoplatanus. Different aspects of the ontogenetic evolution, like the appearance and development of the primordia of the perianth (sepals and petals) and of the reproductive system (stamens and carpels), have been followed. Also, some particularities of the micro- and macrosporogenesis processes have been highlighted.
