How to support Polish venture capital market? Postulates of changes

Abstract
The main objective of this article is to answer the question: how to support the Polish VC investments. The author, by analyzing the experiences of other countries (United States, Great Britain, Ireland and France), indicates factors that could potentially affect the state of VC investment market-its size and structure (the type of investment). Basing on that, shows mechanisms which would help to improve the functioning of the VC market in Poland, in particular, to increase domestic sources of financing such investments. The article also presents some examples of Polish attempts to activate the VC market (the National Capital Fund, the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and Academic Incubators of Entrepreneurship).
