Invitro Anti helmentic Activity of aqueous and alcoholic extracts of Aerva lanata  Seeds and leaves

Abstract

The antiparasitic activity of the seed and leaf extracts of Aerva lanata (Amaranthaceae) were tested against a tapeworm and an earthworm, particularly ethanolic extract showing to be better against tapeworms and earthworms than the standard Albendazole, which are used in the treatment of helmentic parasite infections.
