MALOCCLUSION MORBIDITY TRANSVERSELY ASSOCIATED WITH HIPODONTIA

Abstract

 In this work has been described abnormalities in the transverse plane due to the malfunctioning of the eruption of the teeth, as hipodontia. Been elucidated genetic factors represented by hipodontia in different countries. We analyzed clinical forms of Anodontia, location and extent of the anomaly. All types of anodontia is based on the general principle of treatment. However, in each case, the conduct of different therapeutic methods are elucidated in the text. It was studied a group of patients, divided by age group and were found relations between the incidence of abnormalities in the transverse plane associated with hipodontia.
