POSTMODERNISM: ISSUES AND PROBLEMS

Abstract
This article is a general reading on postmodernism. After modernism, as a new literary and sociological trend, postmodernism got huge attention as well as criticism. This article, at first, discusses on theorigin of postmodernism. Then, the main characteristics of postmodernism are discussed. After that the article presents with the discussions on several scholars who contributed superlatively in the postmodern sociological literatures. Lastly, some criticisms of postmodernism are highlighted.
