REHABILITATION PATIENTS WITH TUMORS OF PARANASAL SINUSES WITH IMPLANT RETAINED PROSTHESES

Abstract

 Particularities of prosthetic fixation on endoosseous implants in cancer patients with tumors of the paranasal sinusesHead and neck cancers including neoplasia and the paranasal sinuses are a wide variety of malignancies originating from the cells lining the upper digestive tract. Treatment of paranasal sinus cancer is complex, depending on the choice of therapeutic modalities stage and location of the disease, patient preference and functional outcome .Modern treatment of paranasal sinus cancer of the hard palate defects , including complex teams of physicians, using sophisticated reconstructive techniques to improve quality of life with a full rehabilitation of patients with tumors of the head and neck region. Need for rehabilitation maxillary defects is determined by the occurrence of the following disorders: nasal speech , mastication disorder profound fluid leakage into the nasal cavity and bucală.Aceste dysfunction can be retrieved by filling the defect , which significantly improves postoperative sequelae, allowing patients who have undergone such interventions to lead a normal life.
