The Development and Application of Worksheet towards Transport and Circulatory Systems Unit (A Pilot Study)

Abstract

 and to evaluate its effectiveness in terms of instruction for being grabbed Transport and “Circulatory Systems” chapter at secondary school biology lesson. Study group consists of totally 39 students attending to biology lesson at a private course named in Turkish “Dershane” selected conformity sampling method from the center of Erzurum. It was utilized pre-test, post-test experimental design with control group. The activities were carried out with traditional instruction method for control group and with group activities where was used worksheet based constructivist learning approach. A 20-item multiple choice conceptual achievement test was used to obtained the data. The findings indicated that there was a statistically significant difference (p<0,05) between groups in favour of experimental group.
