The role of industrial property in business.

Abstract
This article discusses the role of industrial property in business. First section char-acterizes Polish system of protection of industrial property. Describes the goods of in-dustrial property and property rights that national legislation grants their creators. Se-cond section highlights the impact of industrial property on the implementation of four functions of business management (planning, organizing, leading, controlling).
