The role of universities in high-technology clusters

Abstract
Clusters are an important type of inter-organizational networks. Universities play significant part in emergence and development of high-tech clusters. Various types of role performed by universities in cluster initiatives can be identified. They enable ac-complishment of key aims of cluster, especially regarding knowledge transfer.
