Abstract
Theoretical approaches on professional development in today's environment of social and economic context are linked to the development of the SCCT theory. This is an attempt to link the research in work's context in the past with the present situation, which is oriented in a self-management career’s model. In this paper will be described theories of career development which are aligned in terms of cognitive limitations, to understand how people can create new knowledge and behavior. Also, will discuss what are the possible factors affecting career development process.
