NETWORK EFFICIENCY ACCESSIBILITY ON THE CASE OF CAPITAL ECONOMIC REGION

Abstract
Based on the existing approaches to estimating transport network efficiency a new methodology of defining transport network efficiency of the Capital Economic Region through accessibility was suggested. According to the suggested methodology evaluation of transport network efficiency of the Capital Economic Region of Ukraine was performed. Research findings showed that the road transport network of the research region is highly efficient. Quantitative values of road transport network revealed peripheral satellite cities in the region. The justified methodology of transport network efficiency is recommended to apply in decision-making for development of regional transport systems.
