Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the newest borrowed lexemes in the discourse of the leading Ukrainian online newspapers. It is proved that lexical borrowings are used not only as foreign language elements, but they also acquire a certain stylistic load and can fall into lexical differentiation. The analysis of the latest lexical borrowings has shown that today, the greater part of borrowed lexemes taken from the Ukrainian online mass media is borrowed from the socio-economic lexicon of the English language.
