Abstract
NOTES AS A SEMIOTIC PHENOMENON IN THE TYPOLOGICAL ASPECT (THE EXPERIENCE OF CLASSIFICATION OF THE MUSIC WRITING SIGNS) In the article music writing is considered from a semiotic point of view, the universal typology of music writing is proposed, the specific means of musical notation inherent in classical European note-line writing and some new graphical tools of music recording are discussed, the necessity of studying the notes for the practice of music education is proved.
