NUMERICAL SIMULATION AND DESIGN OF CONTROL DEVICE FOR COLLECTING COLD ROLLED STEEL STRIP DUST

Abstract

After coming out from hot rolling machine, the cold rolled steel strip is slowly cooled. Then, the surface of the steel strip is oxidized into oxide scale. After extruding, stretching, bending, straightening and other processes[1], the oxide scale begins to fall off ,that producing a lot of dust and posing a threat to the health of workers .This paper designed a kind of device to control the oxide scale dust .Through numerical simulation and theoretical calculation, the specific equipment parameters were put forward, which providing the basis for the control of the cold rolled steel strip dust.
