ON PARAMETRIC ESTIMATION
Journal Title: JOURNAL OF ADVANCES IN MATHEMATICS - Year 2015, Vol 10, Issue 7
Abstract
In this paper we are focused on parametric modeling. To estimate the distribution of the population under study we use the point estimate. For the unknown parameter a of the uniform (continue) distribution U(0,a) we present a better estimator than the sample mean. It will provide a basis for developing efficient estimators when faced with similar problems.

Leibnizs rule and Fubinis theorem associated with Hahn difference operators
In $1945$, Wolfgang Hahn introduced his difference operator $D_{q,\omega}$, which is defined by where $\displaystyle{\omega_0=\frac {\omega}{1-q}}$ with $0<q<1, \omega>0.$ In this paper, we establish Leibniz's r...
THE FUNDAMENTAL SOLUTIONS OF DIFFERENTIAL OPERATOR WITH BLOCK - TRIANGULAR OPERATOR COEFFICIENTS
For the non-selfadjoint Sturm-Liouville equation with a block-triangular operator potential that increases at infinity, both increasing and decreasing at infinity operator solutions are found. The asymptotics of these so...
BICOMPLETABLE STANDARD FUZZY QUASI-METRIC SPACE
In this paper we introduce the definition of standard fuzzy quasi-metric space then we discuss several properties after we give an example to illustrate this notion. Then we showed the existence of a standard fuzzy quasi...
A note on solvability of finite groups
Let G be a finite group. A subgroup H of G is said to be c-normal in G if there exists a normal subgroup K of G such that G = HK and H K -<HG, where HG is the largest normal subgroup of G contained in H. In this...
On Statistically Convergent and Statistically Cauchy Sequences in Non-Archimedean fields
In this paper, denotes a complete, non-trivially valued non-archimedean field. In the present paper, statistical convergence of sequences and statistically Cauchy sequences are defined and a few theorems on statistically...
