On The Choice Of The Method For Obtaining The Room Impulse Response
Journal Title: Acta Technica Napocensis- Electronica-Telecomunicatii (Electronics and Telecommunications) - Year 2013, Vol 54, Issue 1
Abstract
The paper presents an overview on the direct or indirect methods used to obtain the acoustic room impulse responses. The analysis of the most relevant methods is based on experimental measurements and the goal is to achieve measurements for multiple position acoustic analysis in a live performance room. The objective acoustic parameters of an enclosed space may be obtained from the impulse response of the room.

A Functional Model for A Standalone Fingerprint Recognition System
Abstract: The paper describes a functional model for a standalone fingerprint recognition system, representing a minimum implementation to demonstrate the functionality of such system. For simplicity, the model uses only...
Detecting Dependencies Between States of Multiple Data Streams
The subject of dependency detection has been addressed many times during the last 20 years, and methods that extract frequent patterns or temporal information from data have been developed. The information extracted has...
Acoustic Echo Cancellation Using Wavelet Transform And Adaptive Filters
The paper proposes a new method for acoustic echo cancellation(AEC), in order to improve the performances of the normalized least-mean-square (NLMS) and non-parametric variable- step -size-NLMS (NPVSS-NLMS) algorithms. T...
A PSPICE Model For T Matching Circuits
In electronics, impedance matching is an engineering technique employed in circuit design for matching unequal source and load impedances. This can be done by inserting a matching circuit between the source and a load. F...
An Overview of Today's Multipath Routing
The increased number of applications with strict demands regarding throughput and delay (e.g. video streaming, VoIP, video conferencing) determines the need for more efficient routing procedures in the Internet. Multipat...
