On Uniform Motion of a Periodic System of Absolutely Rigid Stamps, in the Hollow Cylinder

Abstract

Axissymetric stress state of the infinite hollow cylinder when on the inner surface of the cylinder acts a periodic system of uniformly moving circular stamps and the outer surface is free of loads or rigidly clamped is considered The behavior of the contact stresses, acting under the stamp, in dependence on the physical and geometrical parameters of the cylinder is studied.
