Ontology-based Semantic Search Engine for Healthcare Services
Journal Title: International Journal on Computer Science and Engineering - Year 2012, Vol 4, Issue 4
Abstract
With the development of Web Services, the retrieval of relevant services has become a challenge. The keyword-based discovery mechanism using UDDI and WSDL is insufficient due to the retrieval of a large amount of irrelevant information. Also, keywords are insufficient in expressing semantic concepts since a single concept can be referred using syntactically different terms. Hence, service capabilities need to be manually analyzed, which lead to the development of the Semantic Web for automatic service discovery and retrieval of relevant services and resources. This work proposes the incorporation of Semantic matching methodology in Semantic Web for improving the efficiency and accuracy of the discovery mechanism.

Automated System for interpreting Non-verbal Communication in Video Conferencing
Gesture is a form of non-verbal, action-based communication made with a part of the body and used instead of and/or in combination with verbal communication. People frequently use gestures for more effective inter-person...
MRI Brain Image Tissue Segmentation analysis using Possibilistic Fuzzy C-means Method
In this paper, we analyzed the segmentation of MRI brain image into different tissue types on brain image using Possibilistic fuzzy c-means (PFCM) clustering. Application of this method to MRI brain image gives the bette...
