OPINIONS ON THE RIGHT TO NON-DISCRIMINATION

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the non-discrimination concept, as regulated by the national and foreign legislation. It is important to know that there are international documents which protect the right to non-discrimination, so that these documents will also be contemplated by this study. In Romania, the competent authority established in order to investigate and to apply civil sanctions for the deeds or acts of discrimination is the National Council for Combating Discrimination. In this respect, this study shall be focused on the presentation of the role and the activity of this institution in fighting against discrimination.
