Opracowanie dzianin bawełnianych dla uzyskania optymalnego komfortu w gorącym klimacie
Journal Title: Fibres and Textiles in Eastern Europe - Year 2016, Vol 24, Issue 2
Abstract

Simplified Model for Predicting Fabric Thermal Resistance According to its Microstructural Parameters
This paper presents a modified model to calculate the thermal resistance of woven and knitted fabrics according to the microstructural parameters. The model was established by analysing the heat transfer process in the s...
Statistical Analysis of the Pilling Behaviour of Polyester/Cotton and Polyester/Viscose Blended Woven Fabrics
In this work, the pilling behaviour of polyester blended fabrics was studied and analysed statistically. Two different groups of blends were selected, namely polyester/cotton (P/C) and polyester/viscose blends (P/V). All...
Influence of Teeth Manufacturing Tolerances of Cylindrical Geared Wheels on GearOperating Characteristics Based on Spinner Stretching Apparatus
In the paper, issues related to the errors and inaccuracies resulting from improper operation of the drive system of the stretching apparatus of a ring spinner are discussed. The aim of the paper was an analysis of a des...
Material Characterization of Roselle Fibre (Hibiscus sabdariffa L.) as Potential Reinforcement Material for Polymer Composites
Recently, in line with rising environmental concerns, researchers are now replacing synthetic fibres with natural ones as the main component in composites. Natural fibres are preferred to synthetic fibres because...
Warp-knitted Fabric Defect Segmentation Based on the Shearlet Transform
The Shearlet transform has been a burgeoning method applied in the area of image processing recently which, differing from the Wavelet transform, has excellent properties in processing singularities for multidimensional...
