ORGANISATION OF LOGISTIC SUPPORT IN EMERGENCY STATES WITH REGARD TO MEDICAL HELP

Abstract
The aim of this paper is to facilitate the understanding and assimilation of the most es-sential risks connected with the organization of logistic support in emergency states. From the point of view of the people affected, a crucial element is to secure medical assistance. Logistic support (including medical assistance) tasks must be carried out with all available assets and recourses that are at the disposal of individual levels of civil service and both the private and the public sectors. Organisation of logistic support in emergency states should first of all ensure the delivery of critical supplies and logistic services, and then the delivery of assets and resources to save property, reduce damage and eliminate contamination.
