Abstract
Acute coronary syndromes with atrial fibrillation are one of cardiac arrhythmias that require a specific treatment of a patient. Therapy designed to slow the heart rate must be applied and then, after normocardia has been achieved, an ECG must be assessed to check for myocardial ischemia. It is crucial to implement in a patient a procedure that is adequate for acute coronary syndrome and to transport him or her to the nearest (time criterion) centre that specializes in the provision of interventional cardiology services.
