Parametric adjectives as verbal semantics of the class in the poetic broadcasts of the authors of the New York group

Abstract
The article discusses the parametrical adjectives as components of the system of quality categories in poetic texts of the authors of the New York Group of Poets. The system of micro-groups is represented. Those groups form the basis of the image system in the poetic text within the lexical and semantic groups to indicate quality parameters. Purpose. To fi nd out specifi cs of the semantic structure of the expression means of the class in the poetic speech of the New York Group of Poets. Methods. During the research the following methods were used: descriptive method at the stage of observation, interpretation and classifi cation of linguistic material; the method of comparative analysis; functional method; statistical method. Results. Issues of lexical semantics has always been the object of research of many linguists. Both Ukrainian and foreign linguistics uses various principles of the lexical-semantic analysis. Subjects of this analysis were as token and organized lexical microsystem. However, the verbalization of the semantic category expressed by parametric adjectives remains the least explored. This is because the language units are characterized by mobility and complexity of the organization within the lexical-semantic system. Implementation of quality categories in the semantics of parametric adjectives is little studied. Consequently, any attempt to analyze the specifi cs of parametrical adjectives to denote a quality category in the poetic texts of the authors of the New York Group of Poets is important. The article investigated the verbalization parametric semantics on adjectives in the poetic texts of the authors of the New York Group of Poets. It is established that parametric adjectives differ among the other groups of adjectives mainly in relation to the norm. The lexical semantics group of adjectives to denote a quality category represents units that represent the parametric characteristics of surrounding objects. Such units comprise several micro-groups. An adjective to denote parameters in signs category is the qualities of diffuse the connections between sema. It is the consistency which allows you to create a poetic broadcast, original and artistic images that are close to the perception of the audience.
