Abstract

This study explored and identified the user satisfaction and content review of Psychology students of Mapua Malayan Colleges Laguna of the first culturally adapted mental health app in the Philippines, Lusog-Isip. Then, as a basis for the content development of the app and other mental health mobile apps, the results of this study will be used. This study used an exploratory mixed-method research design to identify the user satisfaction level of psychology students. Then, the researchers chose ten random psychology students from different year levels (1st-3rd year) to examine their perception regarding the contents of the Lusog-Isip mental health app. The statistical analysis indicated varied user satisfaction while utilizing and navigating the app. Most outcomes indicated overall satisfaction among numerous students, with only a minority expressing dissatisfaction. Nevertheless, certain features received criticism and requests for enhancement. Participants offered valuable qualitative insights on the content of the Lusog-Isip app, leading to notable recommendations. The selected participants suggest specific improvements and refinements for the ongoing development of the Lusog-Isip app. As stated, Mental health professionals affiliated with MMCL have confirmed the validity of the proposed content for the mental health app.
