PECULIARITIES OF CONDUCTING SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE INITIATIVES OF THE INSTRUMENT-MAKING ENTERPRISES

Abstract
Purpose. The article aims to determine the peculiarities of conducting socially responsible initiatives of the instrument-making enterprises. Methodology of research. The research used dialectic approach to determine the cause-effect relationships, how they affect formation and realization of social initiatives, and what effect those initiatives have on the results of primary activity of enterprises in question. Due to the use of analysis methods, research determined favorable and unfavorable factors for development of socially responsible initiatives of the instrument-making enterprises. A big role in this was attributed to the methods of systematic structured analysis and synthesis to evaluate the structure, form and directions of conducting social responsibility, as well as its sources and resources. Findings. The article gives an in-depth explanation of the connotation of socially responsible initiatives by enterprises, and social responsibility as a broad category; it also gives explanation why it is important to manage those. Research proves the positive effect of social responsibility on the overall effectiveness of enterprise operations; the deduction is concluded from separating economic effects from realization of socially responsible initiatives. Article points out the factors that affect managerial decisions regarding conducting socially responsible activities. Research summarized instruments for implementation and operative mechanics of socially responsible activities of instrument-making enterprises. Originality. Article defines main tendencies in conducting socially responsible activities in modern instrument-making enterprises, and points out a few shortcomings in constructing a framework for social initiatives. Practical value. Article proposes ways of improving the structure of instrument-making enterprise social practice to switch to external expression.
