Pembelajaran melalui Teknik Mind Mapping untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Kemagnetan Peserta Didik Kelas IX Semester Dua Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013

Abstract
The research purpose is How to improve understanding of the concept of magnetism, and highlights the changes in the behavior of learners IX class the second semester of 2012/2013 academic SMP N 3 Mranggen through learning by using concept maps. The research was conducted in two cycles, the number of students 33 people comprised 18 female students and 15 male Siwa. Each cycle is done stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. In the first cycle research increased understanding the concept of magnetism indicators show the percentage of 63.64% (21 people) who have not completed amounted to 36.36% (12 people) and the average value of classical 73. In the second cycle of understanding the concept of electromagnetic induction reaching thoroughly studied with a percentage of 93.94% (31 people), while the unfinished two students of 6.06% (2 students) and the average value of classical 82. From the observation of student activity in the first cycle of 71.40 % and the second cycle of 87.88%
