Abstract
Prokopenko V.Yu., Mishchenko V.S. Pension provision: domestic practice and foreign experience. The theoretical approaches and practice of the pension systems reforming of the world’s countries are examined. The international experience of state regulation of the pension systems financial provision is generalized. The experience of European countries as for the pension system reforming in the context of its application into the realities of modern Ukraine is analyzed in the article. In particular the pension systems of separate EU countries are considered. These systems are based on the three-standard models, which include a joint-dispensation scheme providing the basic level of pension and accumulative one (compulsory and voluntary) which are combined in different variants. In the article it is concluded that for our country the further study of the experience of European countries and successful constructive decisions will be useful for the application into the process of building and reforming our own pension system, which will allow avoiding the negative trends due to the socio-economic and demographic realities of the modern society.
