Performance Evaluation of Polynomial Pool-Based Key Pre-Distribution Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network Applications
Journal Title: International Journal of Advanced Computer Science & Applications - Year 2018, Vol 9, Issue 7
Abstract
In nowadays, wireless sensor network (WSN) has been established as a leading emerging technology in the field of remote area distributed sensing due to its diverse application areas. Key pre-distribution is an important task in WSN because after the deployment of sensor nodes, their neighbors become strange to each other. To secure the communication, neighbor nodes have to generate a secret shared key, or a key-path must exist between these nodes. In this paper, we have discussed and presented various key pre-distribution protocols, namely, the polynomial pool-based key pre-distribution which is a scheme for creating pairwise keys between sensors on the foundation of a polynomial-based key pre-distribution protocol, introducing two effective instantiations: a random subset assignment key pre-distribution scheme and a grid-based key pre-distribution scheme. Other studied key pre-distribution schemes (KPDS) are Peer Intermediaries Key for Establishment (PIKE) and Group-based key pre-distribution scheme. The performances of these schemes have been assessed through the simulation of different grids under the TinyOS environment.

Design of Linear Time Varying Flatness-Based Control for Single-Input Single-Output Systems
In this paper, the control of linear discrete-time Varying Single-Input Single-Output systems is tackled. By using flatness theory combined with a dead-beat observer, a two degree of freedom controller is designed with h...
Camera Calibration for 3D Leaf-Image Reconstruction using Singular Value Decomposition
Features of leaves can be more precisely captured using 3D imaging. A 3D leaf image is reconstructed using two 2D images taken using stereo cameras. Reconstructing 3D from 2D images is not straightforward. One of the imp...
A New Mixed Signal Platform to Study the Accuracy/Complexity Trade-Off of DPD Algorithms
The increase in bandwidth of Power Amplifier (PA) input signals has led to the development of more complex behavioral PA models. Most recent models such as the Generalized Memory Polynomial (1) or the Polyharmonic distor...
Effect of Threshold Values Used for Road Segments Detection in SAR Images on Road Network Generation
In this study, the effect of threshold values used for road segments detection in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images of road network generation is examined. A three-phase method is applied as follows: image smoothing,...
Robust Control of a 3D Space Robot with an Initial Angular Momentum based on the Nonlinear Model Predictive Control Method
ince the value of an initial angular momentum depends on the situations. Hence, the main purpose of this paper is to develop a robust controller with respect to initial angular momenta for the 3D space robot. First, a ma...
