The data collected were statistically treated using the mean and t-test to determine the significance of the observed differences. It was found out that the students in the control and experimental group performed higher in the posttest than in the pretest. Also, there was a significant difference between the pretest and posttest mean scores of the control group using the traditional method of teaching pattern drafting in Dressmaking class and of the experimental group after using the Task-Based Learning Material of teaching pattern drafting in Dressmaking class. The respondents gave comments and suggestions to further improve the developed learning material.
