Journal Title: Analele Universitatii „Eftimie Murgu” din Resita. Fascicola de Stiinte Social-Umaniste - Year 2018, Vol 0, Issue 1
Abstract
Communication between people is accomplished through the three forms: verbal, paraverbal and nonverbal. We transmit our thoughts and feelings through words and nonverbal words through body language, voice, facial expression, gestures and actions. When there is a discrepancy between verbal and non-verbal messages, we tend to believe the second, because it brings us the greatest amount of information about the interlocutor. There are three styles of communication in inter-human relationships: passive, aggressive and assertive communication. Communication is a relational process in which two or more interlocutors exchange information, understand and influence each other. The codes used in communication are: the word, the gesture, the image, the sound, the movement, the moods.
