PHASE EQUILIBRIA IN THE PbLa2S4–PbBi2S4 SYSTEM

Abstract

There have been studied phase equilibria and constructed T–x projection of PbLa2S4–PbBi2S4 system state diagram. Creation of quater sulfide PbLaBiS4 melting congruently at 1025 K has been establihed. Compound PbLaBiS4 has been crystallized in the orthorhombic syngony with parameters of elementary cell: a=1.170, b=1.451, c=0.412 nm s.g. Pnam, Z=4
