Abstract

Introduction: Urinary incontinence of which many people are ashamed actually affects increasing numer of women. It is difficult to estimate the scale of problem as the information is lacking, seeing as women feel embarrassed to talk about it. The pathogenesis is multi-factoral, the autonomic changes appearing in the bottom of the uterus which set in the consequent of childbirths make up the basis in many statuses.Aim of study: Introducing the physiotherapeutical conduct applied in the urinary incontinence is the aim of the study.Description of knowledge: On the present moment the sources advise about applying the electrostymulation of the muscles of the pelvis bottom in the connection with biofeedback. The exercise which regular executing allows improve the condition of the damaged structures of muscles are also the important aspect. The frequency of applied procedures on the beginning carries out 2-3 times daily. One is not to forget about the behavioural proceedings which make up the significant aspect of the conservative treatment allowed.Summary: Programmed correctly rehabilitation allows in many cases on avoidance of surgical operation and influences the improvement of the quality of the woman life first of all. Method ETS joining biofeedback with the electrostymulation of muscles together with conservative treatment and education gives the chance on the decrease existing symptoms connected with urinary incontinence.Key words: urinary incontinence, physiotherapy, training, biofeedback
