Phytosanitary condition of basic organic farming crops of ukraine under changing climatic conditions

Abstract

The climate change affects the phytosanitary conditions of agrocenosis. Control of this process for organic crop production is especially actual. The aim of work consisted of estimation of potential losses of crop of basic agricultural cultures of organic farming on the regions of Ukraine. The conducted analysis shown, that during 2011-2016 under climate change quantity of plant pests and potential crop losses of winter wheat has decreased essential and did not exceed threshold levels. Optimal conditions for the increase of winter wheat production of organic farming without the substantial risks of economic losses from plant pests were created. There are risks of economic losses of organic produce of sunflower in the Vinnytsya, Kherson, Kharkov, Chernihiv, Donetsk and Kyiv regions; corn - in Kyiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsya, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kharkov regions; soya - in Lviv, Kharkov, Kherson, Kirovohrad, Volhynia, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Chernivtsi, Zaporizhzhya, Cherkasy, Rivne, Zakarpattia, Zhytomyr, Poltava regions. The organic farming of potato and cabbage requires a protection of plantations from the plant pests’ complex in all regions of Ukraine.
