Abstract

The distribution of seismic velocities, temperature and earthquake foci in the upper mantle and transition zone to the lower mantle analyzed. A scheme of the deepseated process in the tectonosphere of the region of the proposed immersion of the plates in accordance with the advection-polymorphic hypothesis is constructed. Formulates assumptions about the nature of deep seismicity, consistent with geological data. The energy unreality of the creation of the focal zone by the motion of a subducted plate is shown.
