Abstract
Komisja Województwa Mazowieckiego w kwietniu roku 1817 wydała rozbudowane i szczegółowe, oraz “wiecznie trwające przepisy” dotyczące budowy i utrzymania dróg w królestwie Polskim. Ustawa ta stanowi nieoceniony zbiór wiedzy o przewidzianych rozwiązaniach rozlicznych problemów, piętrzących się przez administratorami i budowniczymi drogowymi tego okresu, którzy podjęli się niezwykle ambitnego programu budowy całkowicie nowej sieci transportowej kraju. Ustawie tej nie można odmówić nowatorskiego wydźwięku projektowanych prac w zakresie budowy i zmiany polskiego systemu transportowego.
