Polszczyzna kresowa Wicynia przeniesiona do Nowej Wsi Głubczyckiej (na przykładzie wybranych cech fonetycznych)

Abstract
This article aims at demonstrating the phonetic features of speech of the residents of Nowa Wieś Głubczycka, born before World War II in south-eastern borderlands in Wicyń village (voivodship Tarnopol) and later on relocated to Głubczyce region. This analysis will determine which borderland dialect features of the residents of Wicyń remained in spoken language to this day. Speaking about the displacement of the borderland Polish language, I mean a set of features of a spoken language characteristic of the informants, which developed and shaped in their place of birth (i.e., borderland villages), with the simultaneous impact of Russian dialectal features, and as a result of the forced repatriation of respondents moved to a foreign land. The analysis of gathered dialect features shows that the oldest respondents are quite good at using borderland Polish language. The survey conducted shows that emotional attitude and strong commitment to the homeland’s language, culture and tradition are relevant factors in cultivating local dialect features.
