Pomiar poziomu kultury bezpieczeństwa w przedsiębiorstwie kolejowym

Abstract
Literature regarding the safety culture in rail transport is mainly foreign language and there are not many Polish literature items comprehensively describing these issues, especially in a railway enterprise. Therefore, the publication provides an overview of the literature on this issue and then discusses the methods of its diagnosis indirectly as well as directly. An indirect diagnosis concerns the effects of a safety culture, while a direct diagnosis is an assessment of its constituent elements. The level of safety culture can be determined on the basis of its ability to generate decisions, behaviors, technical, organizational, incentive and training achievements, bringing the enterprise closer to the absolute safety criterion. On the basis of literature analysis and own experience, three stages were proposed to facilitate acquisition of measurement results on key aspects of safety culture, ie: supporting analysis of key security aspects, interpretation of received measurements and visualization of results.
