PRAGMATIC PECULIARITIES OF THE HEADLINES OF MODERN BRITISH AND AMERICAN WEB-BASED MEDIA

Abstract

The article deals with analyzing pragmatic properties of the headlines of modern British and American web-based media. The types of the most characteristic statements used in the position of headlines of web-based media texts and the nature of the author’s intentions are determined.
