Abstract
The concept and importance of the Green Paper in EU legislation is presented in the article. The content of green books published in 2005-2008 is analyzed. The process of discussion of green books and making decisions about their transformation into low-normative acts, which support for sustainable development of rural areas conception as the importance element of the general complex of action on the country’s way to euro integration effective realization is investigated
