Prediction of Flow Value of Bituminous hot Mixtures by Regression Models
Journal Title: Gazi Üniversitesi Fen Bilimleri Dergisi Part C: Tasarım ve Teknoloji - Year 2018, Vol 6, Issue 1
Abstract
In this study, flow value of the bituminous hot mixtures that can be determined by Marshall Test has been aimed to be predicted by regression models based on material and mixture properties. In this context, data on bituminous hot mix applications for the manufacturing of wearing and binder layers within the borders of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality have been compiled and a data group containing 4680 observations has been created on the application basis. Regression, principal component, clustering and discriminant analyses have been applied on the data group. The clustering analysis shows that the data group can be divided into 4 main clusters. With the stepwise regression analyses carried out on the determined clusters and their various combinations, the regression coefficient of models, which are developed to predict the flow variable, has reached to 73.9 %.

Microstructural Characterization and Modulation of Wear Resistant Sheet Material
In this study, Hardox 500 that we are resistant sheet material was used. Because of Hardox 500 steel materials have a hard and brittle structure, cracking and tearing occur at room temperature during their bending. Bendi...
Polyurethane Production from Waste Bale Fibers
Nowadays, the methods of eliminating the pollution from wastes of the materials produced as much as the production methods are important. This requires efficiently use of sources economically and ecologically. Polyester...
The barrier height (BH) and ideality factor (n) distribution in identically prepared Al/ Bi3Ti4O12/n-Si (MFS) structures
In this study, the values of barrier heights and ideality factors of identically fabricated Au/BTO/n-Si (MFS) type SBDs (60 dots) have been obtained from their intercepts and slopes linear parts of forward bias lnI vs V...
Reliability Analysis of A Cantilever Beam with Circular Hole Depending on Stress-Concentration Factor By Using Monte Carlo Simulation Method
Stress-concentration factor (SCF) is known to be the ratio of the maximum experimental stress around the sudden change of the geometric shape to the theoretical nominal or reference stress. Recently, the investigation of...
