Preparation and Microwave Dielectric Properties of Cold Sintering Ceramics Materials

Abstract

The NaCl, Li2MoO4, Al N-Na Cl and Zn2SiO4-NaCl materials were sintered by cold sintering method.The dielectric properties of cold sintering materials were investigated at microwave frequency ranges.The results show that Li2MoO4material made by cold sintering has microwave dielectric properties ofεr=5.6, Q×f=24 866 GHz, τf=-160×10-6/℃.The permittivity of cold-sintered Li2MoO4material is similar to that of conventional sintering sample and the Q×f value is also good.In the process of cold sintering, no secondary phase is observed in the Al N-Na Cl and Zn2SiO4-Na Cl materials, and the relative densities of Al N-Na Cl and Zn2SiO4-Na Cl materials decrease with the increasing mass fraction of AlN and Zn2SiO4.Under the microwave frequency, εris in agreement with the Lichtenecker equation model that considering the pore of materials.The values of Q×f decrease with the increasing mass fraction of Al N and Zn2Si O4.The law that the values of τf change with the increasing mass fraction of AlN and Zn2SiO4is in agreement with the mixing rule.
