Problematization in health education: applicability and difficulties of the teaching practice

Abstract
This research aims to understand teaching practice in the development of the Methodology of Problematization with Maguerez’s arch, in nursing professional education of the Undergraduate Nursing Course of a public Institution of Higher Education in Distrito Federal (Brazil). It was identified the applicability of Maguerez’s arch by the professors, as well as the potentialities and difficulties in the practice scenarios. The qualitative approach and participant research were chosen. Two instruments of data collection were used: non-participant observation and semi-structured interviews. The study was developed with ten professors and the analysis of observation and speech was conducted through the content analysis, according to Bardin. The results showed that the difficulties are related to the management of the activities, with some pedagogical impasses inherent in the teaching practice and with other gaps that are relevant to the teaching reflection on the use of this problematizing methodology.
